Meet Ghost of Greyhound
Hello, I am Ghost.
The owner and creator of this site. I have finally come to terms with the situation I have found myself in.
After being gone for almost 7 years in prison. I got out to a whole new world. The entire time I spent in prison I wrote. Page after page of poems, songs, and storys. When I got out and discovered that Ai could create music and turn my lyrics into actual songs. Man I was excited.
I instantly started spending money on a website, invested in a few Ai tools, and thought finally. I can get paid doing what I love. You can imagine my heartbreak when I discovered the word AI slop. At one point I was even looking into distribution of my music. Expecially being broke and homeless.
Now understand, its only been a few months. And I have lost all my writing that I created. But I love to write, so Ill just pour my heart into new songs. The sad part is I finally reliezed every one is creating music with Ai. Flooding the net with 1,000s of songs just by clicking buttons. I have made quite a few that way myself.
So this site is a collection, all free, of music I create. The more I learn the better I hope to get. I have purchased a DAW, Im creating more and more, and I like hearing my words come to life.
There is of course, songs I have generated with only AI. I have given the "band" the name LAirsyst. Clever dont you think. They will clearly be labeled so that people dont think Im claiming something I havent done.
Feel free to browse the site. I work on it almost daily. Another thing that takes time. Hopefully, one day, I will have some traffic. In the meantime, if you listen and enjoy my music, hey why not buy me a cup of coffee?
Ai, and the future of music.
Just enjoying the process..
People are very opinionated when it comes to Ai and creating music. On one side of the fence, you have those who have spent their lifetime learning the art. Hours after hours practicing, honeing their skill. These people feel that Ai music has no soul, no heart. T'hey believe Ai is stealing the music it is creating. After all, Ai's whole thing is data, creating something by learning and using what others have done.
Then there are those who believe it is just a new tool. One that can help creativity. One to use just like any other tool. Help with writers block, get a beat idea. Things like that. They believe that when used correctly with the other tools in the toolbox, great things can be created. Just like any other tool, or tech breakthrough, it can be used badly, by bad people. Whos whole intent is to just piggyback on those who have done all the work.
I consider myself a Lyricist. Whether a good one or a bad one remains to be seen. I enjoy writing and turning that into music. I found I actually love it. When you consider what it keeps me away from, what it keeps me from turning back into, then for me. This is a blessing. You can read more about me in the ghost section.
Everything on this site, is free to listen too, download and share. But please give me credit if you use it in a way, that well, you would want credit for. For the completely AI built stuff, this don't bother me much. But for the songs I have written, well there a piece of me.
Stop by when you can. I am always changing things, expecially my mine. I may wake up tomorrow and think I have the greatest idea on the planet. Which usually turns out to well, not be the case.
Meet LAirsyst...my Ai alter ego.
When people think all there is to makeing music with Ai, is clicking a few buttons, they are somewhat correct. In order to keep what I have written, and somewhat helped in creating, I decided to make myself a little alter ego.
So I proudly introduce, LAirsyst. If you think real hard, you can probably guess how I came up with that name. If you cant and really really want to know, drop me an email and Ill let ya know.
I get writers block sometimes. Most people do. And sometimes I am just not in the mood to write. But I am always in the mood for music, and makeing songs. So, when I have absoutly no input in the song that is made, all credit goes to LAirsyst. So far, I feel like he has made some very good, nice to listen to music.
